Welcome

to the INSIDERS Creative Space

The passion and hunger to realize artistic and creative processes after a yearlong pause and incubation period is manifested in a surprising and cutting-edge way through a digital space which presents works by members of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. This creative journey touches on the collective and personal development which took place over the past year during the COVID-19 crisis, and reflects, among other things, the desire to craft and introduce a moving and surprising cinematic experience of contemporary dance.

Ticket holders may view all works for 48-hours. Interviews and images may be viewed at any time.

Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC) was founded by the late Yehudit Arnon in 1970 in Kibbutz Ga’aton, situated in the  Western Galilee of northern Israel. Under the Artistic Direction of Rami Be’er, the company’s choreographer and central creative force over the past 25 years, KCDC has become known as one of the most unique and prominent dance companies in the world. The company regularly performs in international festivals and in the most important and prestigious venues across Israel and the globe.

Members of the company live and create in the company’s home at The International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton. Each of them is highly capable, uniquely expressive, and has a fascinating stage presence.  Working together, under Be’er’s direction, the company produces works whose artistic expression is relevant, emotionally resonant and deeply inspiring.
